Who is Fargo Area Sports (FAS)?
Fargo Area Sports was established November 1st 2023. Formerly known as Fargo Youth Baseball (FYB), FAS is the new name of the organization that oversees Fargo Youth Baseball, Fargo Area Fastpitch, and through Sanford Power, our own High Performance Sports Academy that will include Diamond Academy.
Who is Fargo Area Fastpitch (FAF)?
Established in the fall of 2022, Fargo Area Fastpitch is a youth fastpitch organization for ages 5-18. The organization was created by the merging of Fargo Youth Baseball and several area fastpitch organizations including but not limited to Fargo Lady Eagles, Fargo South and Fargo North fastpitch clubs. As of November 1st, 2023, Diamond Academy has also merged with Fargo Area Sports and will operate under our banner as well. This merger allows us to provide the best experience for all youth fastpitch players of all skill levels in the Fargo area. Fargo Area Fastpitch staff and its board of directors operates under the premise of "A Kid's First Organization".
Fargo Area Fastpitch will offer many different opportunities for area girls interested in softball. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, we will have a home for you. We offer a spring junior high season, a summer recreation season that has both travel and a non-travel option, and we participate in a fall league.
On top of the various team opportunities, Fargo Area Fastpitch will be offering private lessons, small group sessions, day camps and a variety of other educational componants. We will have updates on our website under the lessons and/or program tabs with all of our current and available opportunites. We want to educate our youth, our families and our community as to the benefits of playing softball and the overall positive impacts it has on young people involved in sport.
