Fargo Area Fastpitch follows USA guidelines for age charts. Rules for age classification changed this past year to follow a grade based age chart rather than a calendar year age chart. Players age classification now is based on what age the player is as of September 1st as they enter school. This age chart will be followed for any player that will be playing in the summer recreational program, the travel league programs through Fargo Area Fastpitch and Diamond Academy, and for Fall Ball.


***IMPORTANT TO NOTE FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN BEING ELIGIBLE FOR THE 12 YEAR OLD LITTLE LEAGUE ALL-STAR PROCESS OR TRAVEL TEAMS***
If a player chooses to be eligible for the 12u all-star selection process for Little League, the player MUST sign up under the age listed on the Little League Age Chart.
